Students Put on FIRST ESPORTS COMPETITION!

At my school, we have something called Project Week where students take a week off from classes to do a project of their choice. This year, I’m working with students doing esports related projects. Each student is doing an independent project as well as working collaboratively to put on a city-wide competition.

As sort of a practice run, the students put on a video game competition at our school in preparation for the larger competition they will host for gamers in the city of Austin. Both tournaments are Super Smash Bro. Ultimate tournaments.

This video is documenting that ‘practice-run’ tournament.

Stay tuned for another video of the work they’ll be doing during Project Week and the larger competition they’ll be putting on!
