No Classes & NOTHING BUT ESPORTS For A Week

The school I teach at does something called Project Week where students don't have any classes and they have all week to explore something they're interested or passionate about. I worked with a group of students who were interested in doing something with esports. Part of their project was to put on a Super Smash Bros Ultimate tournament. Super big thanks to Game Over Videogames for letting us host the tournament for free at their location! Building COLLISION AVOIDANCE Robots in Middle School Robotics

Project Week – A Short Documentary

Project Week – A Short Documentary

I just finished my first year here at The Khabele School in Austin, TX.  The vision of the school is to be a place where students fall in love with learning, realize their profound beauty, and live with courage and authenticity.  One of the ways that plays out is with Project Week. "If you could do whatever you wanted for a week, what would you do?" That's the question students are trying to answer and explore with Project Week. Below is a short documentary I filmed about the whole process.
