The Best New Review Activity For Any Class

In this video, I chat about a new review activity I tried called the Three 3's. I really enjoyed it. Students had 9 questions and they had to ask a different person each question and summarize their answer. Got them up out of their seats and working with students they don't normally work with. The Best Review Game for Any Class

I tend to avoid games in math class because they usually just reward the kids who can think the fastest. Trashketball is a little different. Kids are in teams of 2-3, a question is posed, and students work together to answer it. Only one person can write on the dry erase board per question. Students who answer correctly, get a chance to shoot a trashket (wadded up paper into the garbage). Different distances from the garbage are worth different points. Post 03 – Programming Drones & Mathematical Properties

We're entering week 4 of school. This will be the first full, normal week so far. First day of week 1 was the odd first day schedule with assemblies and such, 2nd week had a 2-hr delay on Monday due to hurricane weather, and last week was labor day on Monday. Week 13 – Wishing You Had Planned Differently

It's the last day before Thanksgiving Break. My school gives us the entire week off which is excellent. I thought about doing a vlog for a 'day in the life' this week but had some testing going on and figured that wouldn't be a very excited day in the life.
